It’s the first TA-4 I’ve seen with “hot dog” antenna atop vertical stab (besides the OA-4M). thierry laurent Posted July 3, 2022 Share Posted July 3, 2022 Hi, This the VF-126 BuAe153489. She arrived in Miramar NAS in May 1989 and left in April 1992. According to Skyhawk.org, it looks the tip was replaced while she was used there. However, I don't think this is the same Skyhawk as other antennas changed as well (look behind the cockpit and under the nose tip). They probably made a mistake.
