Nice work!! Love it that you're building a JG300 bird!
Yep, and F-8 would have probably had the bomb release panel, usually not the A-8, but hey, it adds some nice visual interest!! :clap2:

thank you!

ok maybe i will try to remove it then .. it is a separate part ,

no promise :)

that was quick!!

all panels re-scribed and mr surfacer 1000 gave a smooth finish after a light sanding with 6000 micromesh

everything looks fine to me , no imperfections

i have also fixed (filled) the joint between the wing gun covers and the fuselage

next step is silver coat and then the HGW rivet decal set

can't wait to put some paint on it..

Beautiful paintwork, Spyros! I love the subtle color shifts in the pre-shade.  I also have a 1ManArmy stencils for my D-9 build so I'm looking forward to seeing them in action too.

thank you for your comments John!

1ManArmy stencils are amazing but very time consuming..and there is no room for errors.. i have used them on the Revelll G-6 build.

i am sure that with your painting skills and attention to detail you will end up with a great result!

now moving to the wing  camouflage

RLM 81 AK the *green version ). and gunze RLM 75

there is no weathering yet , just pre-shading , painting and immediately a light sanding with micromesh.

I have a layer with hairspray in some areas like the wing roots and the the wing gun covers but it can activated any time , so i will deal with that when

i 'll decide the overall look..

some masking and painting with 1ManArmy masks

some attention is required to the placement of the stencils especially the small ones

as you have to find the exact position on such a small surface and the masks are not fully transparent..
