Sorry, no idea, guess we will know when the kit hits the market.

Now if we speak about ugly boxarts, this one must be included. Interestingly, this isn't from 1960s - it's a kit that just entered the market...

I think we have a winner here.  Is this an egg plane kit?

This one is baffling but had me in stitches. I never realised the YF-23 did the twist as it flew. Obviously a secret method to help negotiate craggy terrain.

I thought sideways lift was highly desirable.

That Revell 1/144th F-104 looks awful! I'm guessing it was aimed at the under-14's market, who probably wouldn't have cared less about accuracy (or a real lack thereof).

I thought the Airfix kits issued with a photograph of the actual model on the lid were pretty bad - just not a good way to sell the contents.

Cheers.

Chris.

Trumpeter F-8j

Worlds largest aircraft carrier in background? Look at the size of that A-4 and blast deflector compared to the surrounding...acreage.

Is the F-8 taking off from the fantail, or landing on the bow? Maybe VTOL?

Wheels down, flaps down, wing raised, full burner. Apparently somewhere over the island.

Is that a wood deck???:hmmm:

Forced perspective is not this artists strength...
