Thunnus Posted June 11, 2022 Share Posted June 11, 2022 The following photos are of my recently completed build of the 1/32 Special Hobby Hawker Tempest Mk. V "Hi-Tech2" kit. This edition includes a bunch of resin and photoetch enhancements, most notably a very detailed resin depiction of the Napier Sabre engine. I also added the Eduard photoetch brass flaps and used HGW dry transfer for the data stencils. All of the other markings were painted using custom cut masks. The aircraft depicted is JJ+F flown by David C. Fairbanks, an American credited with 15 kills, 14 of which were flying the Tempest.
