Stormer
I just received my F-8E and just had a quick look at the decals. The stars n bars looks rather off color wise. The blue looks too bright and light. Stencils looks not complete either. I was thinking about buying a AOA sheet for the A-4, but are the insignia the right size? Suggestions please! easixpedro
You're correct on all accounts. Take a look at my F-8 build log. I ended up painting 'em myself and cobbling together the stencils... -Peter Stormer
Tony T
Maybe somebody has a Zotz sheet for sale or trade. https://www.scalemates.com/kits/zotz-decals-ztz32-083-f-8-crusaders-in-vietnam-war--1105184 Or maybe look for 1/32 A-7E decals. Stormer
https://www.fantasyprintshop.co.uk/product/usaf-postwar-stars-bars-fp712/ This might be part of the solution, don't you think?
Gary Needham
VICTORY PRODUCTIONS (32002) did a superb decal sheet for 1/32 F8's and with full stencils too. Gary

I wasn't aware it was OOP and so, I am glad I kept hold of mine! Good luck with the F8 build. Gary
