Gallery Models are the ones that just recently released the 1:16 StuG IIIG. From what I've seen, it looks pretty sweet too. Dave Williams
I think Gallery Models is one of the Trumpeter offshoots like I Love Kit and Merit, or at least Trumpeter does the molding and instructions. dodgem37
At 1/200, it seems to me they could have done this in 1/144. Anyway. Sincerely, Mark firefly7
Uncarina
My pleasure Maru! I sold my Nichimo kit years ago with the Gold Medal Models photoetch set. Both were impressive, but I’ll be curious to see what this one looks like. Cheers, Tom

Still a very large and impressive thing in that scale! Iain Agreed - I think 1/200 is the right scale for this. I honestly never thought we would see a model of a japanese subject coming out of China. They still seem to have an awful lot of historic "bad blood" between them. Now we just need a modern US Carrier in 1/200 - I would clear shelfspace for that! (or buy a bigger house ) Uncarina and Iain

I think they even reboxed some of the earlier Trumpeter ship kits. Matt

cbk57
I had thought Fujimi was going to do something as they released a lot of the super structure and gun turrets in 1/200, I don't know if these are plant on replacements for the Nikimo kit or what the intent was. I just thought they were doing these stand alone mini kits to subsidize the big project that would ultimately come out but it seems they just stopped.
