dashotgun
I was struggling a bit then too thin paint to many layers it ran raised edge. Then decided to do a faint layer of tamiya fine white thinned slightly with mr color leveling thinner then did a final layer with mr color white. Came out perfectly. This was sprayed through a cameo mask over the camo pattern
Woody V
One trick you can use to hide the edge is spray Gloss Clear over the area and sand with very fine sanding paper/sponge. You can see when the blending is complete when the gloss around the edge is gone. It's an old custom car paint trick and it works. Some guys paint the insignias on first followed by color and they swear by it. Ebf2K, Rick Griewski and scvrobeson 1

Then mask and apply rest Edited April 15, 2022 by Thunderbolt LSP_Kevin and Rick Griewski 1
