Surely the Armed Forces insure through ‘The General’ no? Those TV adverts are burned in to my brain from too much late night TV when visiting the States.

All the insurance companies, Geico, All-State, USAA, etc ...

We know who's making money by who advertises allot ..! :hmmm:

Budget is pretty tight.  Might be trying to save a few bucks on paint.  I’m sure there’s a reason for it but I stopped trying to figure it out years ago, but you are right:  tail codes are smaller than they were in the good old days.

The tail code could be reduced cause it looks like the commanders jet with the bigger eagle

tail art for the "Tripe Nickel" 555th FS and shaded tail code/tail number. Somebody is probably

already working up an inflight display of it! LOL!
