Finn
Apparently it lost a wheel on take off so it had to make a belly landing: Jari Michael931080, Out2gtcha, Eagle Driver and 5 others
Out2gtcha
Nice landing considering! Any landing you can walk away from and all.............. Would they repair something like that I assume and place the Viper BIS? Martinnfb
Oldbaldguy
Pete can probably tell us more. Hard to tell, but it doesn’t look like the airframe touched the runway at all. Tanks and strakes only. Martinnfb
Finn
It looks like it had a shallow ALQ-131 ECM pod on the belly which is probably a bit thinner now. Jari Martinnfb

ade rowlands
Don’t be forgetting Flo from Progressive. She was a thing I’m sure. Though some of these may be State dependant. I’m mostly in NYC when I visit. GreyGhost

John1
Has the AF reduced the size of the tail codes on its jets? That F-16 and the new LN F-35’s seem to have much smaller codes. Edited March 15, 2022 by John1

I’m sure there’s a reason for it but I stopped trying to figure it out years ago, but you are right: tail codes are smaller than they were in the good old days. aircommando130
The tail code could be reduced cause it looks like the commanders jet with the bigger eagle tail art for the "Tripe Nickel" 555th FS and shaded tail code/tail number. Somebody is probably already working up an inflight display of it! LOL! Cheers...Ron
