Great work. The Mirage is such an elegant aircraft, and you're doing it justice here

Matt

Thank you Matt! Totally agree with you. I'm really falling in love with the look of this aircraft.

French, in general, really make some of the most elegant jet planes in the world!

Looks really nice - Nice to see the cockpit from Grand Models "in action". I hope they will also do one for the two-seater D-Model.

Thank you Niels!

The Grand Models cockpit is a proper work of art and fits well, too!

I do hope they make other versions, too!

Hi Spyros,

just confirm the aux intakes are right for the config you are doing.

Cheers

Nick

Many thanks Nick!

The aux intakes are one area I forgot to check for accuracy but glad to know they are the rights ones for this version. ^_^

Hi Spyros

I am sorry I as unclear about the auxiliary intakes. They are the rectangular intakes behind the main intake. They are normally spring loaded in the closed position but open when the demand for air from the engine is too great for the main intake to supply. This only happens at low speed and high engine RPM.

Cheers

Ah, I see what you mean.

I think someone else also pointed out the same over on FB.

Unfortunately, I've progressed too far in the build to fix this.

Was also told the antenna positions on the top of the tail fin were inaccurate but have decided to leave them as is for now.

Your Mirage is taking shape nicely.

What an elegant and aesthetically  pleasing aircraft to the eye.

Oh that looks so pretty! I think cleaning up the lines and making it look like it’s doing mach2 is perfect for the Mirage - Nice show!

Thank you guys!

The French certainly know how to make sexy looking jets!

I'm not a huge fan of depicting aircraft in flight usually preferring to have them wheels down with RBF tags.
