MikeC
Perhaps this is a silly question, but is there any difference, apart from decals, between the USAF and Asian Air Forces boxings? RLWP
I can't see anything greyed out on the instruction sheet: https://www.scalemates.com/products/img/3/9/1/1019391-64-instructions.pdf I think that's how Roden usually identify unused parts. So it's may be the same plastic Richard Martinnfb and MikeC 1
MikeC
Thanks Richard. I'm contemplating a purchase, I won't be using kit decals, and I have a chance of the Asian one at a slightly better price, so if I can use that, it's a bonus. chrish and Out2gtcha
jeroen_R90S
I have the Asian boxing, other than the decals and instructions not mentioning the weapons for example there is no difference. I picked up the Asian service boxing because it comes with an instrument panel decal, which the USAF/US Army version does not have. (although it isn't that great, better than nothing... I downloaded the instructions for the other boxing from super-hobby and will use AOA decals on mine. Jeroen MikeC

MikeC
As a former British air cadet I must confess that's tempting, but obviously there's the little matter of the four-bladed prop to consider.
Kenneth
… and the exhaust muffler. But both probably retrofits they only got much later in their Air Cadet career, to quieten them down a bit.. MikeC

NP; if you'd like me to check anything specific I can have a look in the box, the box is pretty accessible (as in: I hope it won't be years until I get to it!)
