The Madhatter
hey everyone Thought I would post some pics of my just finished side project. I'm really happy with how it came out. As you'll see, I have elected not to cover it in decals - just a few to add interest Painted in SMS Paints Electric Blue as well as Tamiya and Alclad. I have a Version 2 on pre-order to go with at a later date Anyways, that's all the pics I took. I thought I had taken some of the interior but I was wrong. Too late to do anything about it but it's all good As always, thanks for stopping in and having a look Si Edited December 22, 2021 by The Madhatter Fixed the model type scvrobeson, TankBuster, Leaning_Dog and 10 others
The Madhatter
LOL, its all good bro, this is primarily an aircraft site, so a car is not high on the viewing priorities. I take zero offence to no replies you did though (reply), so Thankyou Edited December 20, 2021 by The Madhatter
Uncarina
Immaculate! I have serious respect for anyone who can pull off these car paint jobs. Well done! Cheers, Tom The Madhatter
The Madhatter
Thanks Tom. Cars are my weak point but I was really happy with how this came out. Uncarina
Leaning_Dog
Awesome build! Cheers! John. The Madhatter
scvrobeson
Didn't even know that the R36 was on the market yet. Thought it was still R35 until at least 2023. Spectacular build and paintwork. Liberty Walk mods usually look a bit mad, but it works on this chassis. Matt The Madhatter
The Madhatter
Thanks guys. Yeah, it is an R35 - that was a typo. I should change the title
scvrobeson
It's perfectly okay. It looks great, whichever version of the GT-R it is. Will be interesting to see how much the R36 is an improvement. Matt The Madhatter
chrish
Nicely done…once again! I had a brain toot about adding a pinto body to a skymaster (James bond) but that thought passed silently away thank goodness The Madhatter
The Madhatter
That would've been an interesting project! You should do it Yes, I'm quite keen to see the next iteration of the Skyline as I haven't seen any pics of designs and I quite like the looks of the Skyline. scvrobeson
All the pics on Google seem to show a bit more aggressive styling across the front, and a big redesign at the back end. Matt
The Madhatter
I did a Google search on that and if thats the new one, then yeah, it certainly is very aggressive looking. Seems there are a couple of concepts going. I normally don't like stripes on cars but that Paul walker one looked pretty cool
