Daywalker
I really like your build, how was the kit? I have read reviews of this one talking about an ill-fitting front windscreen among other things. I would love to add a P-47N to my collection but have held off due to negative reviews of this kit. spook
Hello I think it's not a bad kit but it's not a really easy kit. You have a nice review here, allt the good and bad things are listed: https://www.largescaleplanes.com/articles/article.php?aid=2766 I changed the floor, I made it in plastic card and sceatchbuilt armrests. I used the kyt windscreen even if it has wrong shape. The eassembly of the motor and compressor are not easy. The global fit is not bad but you need mastic for the upper fuselage assembly, the gun bay if you want them to be closed. The wheels are wrong for a N, I used AMS resin ones. Hope it can help you Edited October 30, 2021 by spook Martinnfb and Daywalker

Grunticus
Very nicely done! What's the story behind the Bolivian roundel on the fuselage?

Hello, that's the markings applied between 1942 and 1962, rondels were different between fuselage and wings http://www.aeroflight.co.uk/waf/americas/nicaragua/Nicaragua-af-nat-markings-hist.htm Edited November 1, 2021 by spook Grunticus
John Stambaugh
NMFinish looks great. Not easy to pull off over top of 10,000 divets. Is it alclad and did you use a sealer coat? You pulled off an excellent job on a somewhat difficult kit. Congratulations
spook
Hello Yes I used alclad paint. First I used Vallejo primer. Thanks you all. Happy that you like it
