Jan_G
could be interesting to somebody except the revell plastic, painting masks, Cartograf decals andfew resin pieces included in the box https://www.plastmodel.pl/p/653/58386/hobby-2000-32001-supermarine-spitfire-ia-1-32-propeller-planes-scale-1-32-military-aircraft.html https://www.plastmodel.pl/p/653/58387/hobby-2000-32002-supermarine-spitfire-iia-w-rotol-propeller-1-32-propeller-planes-scale-1-32-military-aircraft.html https://www.plastmodel.pl/p/653/58388/hobby-2000-32003-supermarine-spitfire-va-1-32-propeller-planes-scale-1-32-military-aircraft.html Edited October 19, 2021 by Jan_G Paramedic, Trak-Tor, Fanes and 4 others 6
LSP_Kevin
Wow, that came out of the blue! Can we confirm anywhere that they're reboxes of the Revell kits? Kev Trak-Tor, LSP_K2 and Jan_G
Jan_G
based on the parts layout it seems they have used Revell IIA kit Kev so not sure about IA and VA versions here are some better pics and instructions as well https://sk-sk.facebook.com/pg/jadarhobby/posts/?ref=page_internal Edited October 19, 2021 by Jan_G Trak-Tor, Kagemusha and coogrfan
Kagemusha
Yep, the sprue layout is the same, looks to have additional resin parts where required. LSP_K2 and Jan_G
Paramedic
Does it let you make a proper Ia and Va then? Looking at the instructions I see the 50 and 51 step and seem to remember that the oil cooler (?) intake had a different shape so that seems genuine with a resin part. I built Douglas Baders Dog´s Body "DB" in 1/48 a few years ago and put ona Rotol spinner but I guess both spinners can have been used on Vas? Maybe I should find a feview.. Seems like a fun kit though, thanks for sharing. I had no clue about it and haven´t picked up the Revell one yet..
barkhorn
Most of relevant images has already been shared above, here are the additional two pages from the instructions with the parts layout and an illustration of some tweaks that have to be applied to the Revell engine cowling. LSP_Kevin
Engraving that external battery connector access door will be no easy task. Do they provide a template for it? Kev nmayhew
barkhorn
The drawing of the access door shape in the correct size for 1/32 scale is placed above the engraving symbol. LSP_K2

firefly7
I think these will be my Spit family tree. I have a Tamiya and 1 of those is enough. But I want the whole line and these look great. Thanks Jan for the info.
Paramedic
Yeah this boxing looks really nice. Mk,.I, II and V?? (as) - yes please! BoB or Douglas Bader in 1941?? alanash1963
thierry laurent
Well, take care; more resin parts would be required to depict correctly all those marks. Obviously most people will not care and be happy to get Spitfires that look globally ok. Personally I will wait for Kotare ones.
