Juggernut
Hey Skeeter fans, I have an opportunity to pick up Tamiya’s Mosquito kit at a fairly decent price. My issue is that I fancy the RAAF forest green overall paint and would like to know how prevalent was the forest green on the Mosquito? It appears as though this color was short-lived and replaced by silver dope during 1945. The only forest green Mosquito I can find has needle blade props which the Tamiya kit does not have. So what’s the scoop with the RAAF Mosquito Fb VI. (License built Mk 40. or whatever it’s designation is)?
MikeMaben
Hey Tim, from what I can see, RAAF Mosquitos carried more than one scheme thru '44 and '45. The kit does have both types of blades , needle and paddle. Also some RAAF decals. You shouldn't have any problems .

I wasn’t aware that the kit came with the needle blade props. I did find another photo of RAAF forest green mosquitoes. Now I just need to finish my 1/16 Panther tank before I dive into something else. I have more ideas than build time I’m afraid. I've had an acute case for years now. MikeMaben, Model_Monkey and MikeC
