I asked at a couple hobby shops what they thought the price was going to be. One said they expected it to be around $1100 CAD. The other initially said $300 but when they double checked, came back with the same $1100-1200 estimate. Nigels modelling bench
Hi all, I am in regular contact with Border Model about this kit,(and have actually just received a pre production copy of the Stuka). They are having a few technical issues at the moment which has slightly delayed the kits launch. As far as I can tell, they want it to be perfect? So are we talking about technical issues with the Ju-87 or the Lanc? Confused with your wording that's all. Regards. Andy MARU5137

The Lancaster has hit some small technical issues, probably sink marks or fogged clear parts, something along those lines? geedubelyer
I've little doubt that this will be a stellar model but sadly I shall have to pass. I love the idea of a large scale Lanc with sublime and realistic surface texture but I have no where to display a model of this size and £620 is a chunk of change that can be hard to justify. Can't wait to begin watching others build theirs though.

WOW ! for that price I can go to India twice return journey !! That's the problem with these monster kits. People beg and beg, post and post, and failing to realize that such a monster requires a lot of effort to create, so it ends up being damn expensive. Then they don't buy it. It's no wonder that so many companies don't make LSP's any more. AlanG, geedubelyer, RLWP and 1 other
Paul2660
At least in this kit you have the option to keep the outer half of the wing off. At least that is what original design showed. Paul geedubelyer
