LSP_Ray
Nice! I have a range of 1/1000 TOS ships, as well as some 1/350 stuff, and am trying to resist the new(ish) 1/350 D-7.

Gazzas
Cool! I just picked up the original Klingon battle cruiser which has absolutely zero panel lines and no raised artistically inspired detail. I am thinking about scribing in some realistic panel lines without the crazy surfaces of the more recent moldings. Then I'll weather the heck out of it. He kept one, gave one to me, and the third went to his brother. Ryan and coogrfan
LSP_Kevin
Yep, that's the one! And yes, that's annoying. Kev Brett M, Gazzas and LSP_K2

It was evolved from the D-7, so I think of it as such. Someone is going to do a short-run resin TOS D-7 in 1/350, though.: https://www.nicenmodeldesigns.com/1-350-star-trek-original-series-klingon-d7-battle-cruiser.html Brett M
Ryan
The smaller kit is ages old, here are some fixes I did to it. I wont be correcting everything but some things I cant let go. There were some odd tooling depressions in the saucer section, these were filled and then new sensor bands re scribed. Ryan
Some improvement to the engines...the cradle that rest underneath the front of engines had some bad gaps to sort out with card and putty. The saw tooth rings need heavy block sanding to look right and transition to the poorly fitting cap. In primer they came out darn good! Out2gtcha
Oh yeah, that end shot looks MUCH better. The crisp detail really becomes apparent under primer. chrish and Ryan 1
Ryan
The lower hull needs reinforcement and the hole for the stand rod needs reamed out, the pics tell the story. Gazzas, LSP_K2, KUROK and 7 others
Ryan
The neck section was missing the tip.....not sure why but was molded with this omission. Easy enough to rebuild out of strip. Also strip was added to the connection point to give a tighter fit. Brett M, D Bellis, themongoose and 7 others
