LSP_Kevin
Howdy folks, I've just been alerted to this by Mike Swinburne. Some members of the former Wingnut Wings team have now coalesced into a new venture called Kotare Models: Website: https://www.kotare-models.com/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/kotaremodels Nice to see these guys back in the game, and with a new LSP project, too! LSP_Kevin
It would be nice to think that they were able to resurrect some of the orphaned Wingnut Wings projects and intent to bring them to fruition. That would be nice. It would also be interesting to see if they take that skill and engineering into other realms besides WWI. Rumour has it that their first project is a WW2 subject, but I have no evidence for that. Kev LSP_K2, Granger Davis, D.B. Out2gtcha
With these guys involved, and no WnW limitations, the possibilities could be endless. MikeC, Gazzas, Babelfish Steve and 1 other
Archimedes
Thanks for this news Kevin and Mike, I am utterly thrilled by this news and don’t feel any need to second guess what they will be producing. I will wait in quiet contentment knowing what this team has already shown they are capable of. Bravo guys. D.B. Andrus
Out of the WNW nest and spreading their own wings, so to speak. Best of luck and can't wait to see what's coming. Cheers, Damian scvrobeson, Troy Molitor, Ryan and 2 others
Dpgsbody55
This is good news indeed. Even better if they broaden the range a little. If the rumours mentioned are correct about the model in development being a WW2 subject, let's hope it's something not so common. They have quite a few aviation museums there in NZ, so not too difficult for them to find a subject to measure up. A good P-40 E or N, perhaps??? I wish them lots of success. scvrobeson
The two quick teaser images on their website sent my brain straight to Hanriot. Maybe we'll finally get that gigantic gap in the WW1 market filled? Matt Archimedes

adameliclem
This is excellent news. Kotare means kingfisher, and while a high-class O2SU would be great, I wonder if they might be developing a legendary WW2 biplane named after something fishy. A brother can hope. You go, Kotare. Can't help it Gary , it's part of the disease ... errr hobby Kotare : Sacred Kingfisher A kingfisher, said to be the first bird to fly from Noah's ark after the deluge, supposedly received the orange of the setting sun on its breast and the blue of the sky on its back. It was considered a symbol of peace, promising prosperity and love. Phantom2, Rick Griewski, williamj and 5 others 7
