Marcel111
Hello Ali, Since your have the very rare skill of creating excellent clear parts, any chance I can convince you to do the above? I and quite a few of my modelling buddies cannot start our SLUFFs without. Cheers, Marcel blackbetty, Michael931080, Daniel Leduc and 3 others
blackbetty
i second that not taking anything from chris, who made a very nice vac canopy i used on my E build, but i asked several times and there seems to be no chnace of another production run. i think a correct canopy is only doable with a noce correction (not sold by chris anymore too) Daniel Leduc
Marcel111
Yeah Chris made a great replacement but it hasn’t been available for many years now… Daniel Leduc and blackbetty
blackbetty
he still sells the intake ring maybe we can twist his arm to sell the nose too, and with a clear resin canopy this would be better than the old set with the vac canopy.... Tony T
I think Aerocraft should step in with some resin. Ditto the Su-27 Flanker canopy. Ten years' "place holding" in the market but without a product means time to let go. Tony Daniel Leduc
Marcel111
Chris doesn’t like to do clear parts. His intake correction os excellent, imo with a windscreen and canopy correction we would be good to go. I can re-contour the nose myself, not sure how necessary that is. Out2gtcha
Man, if there were ever a collaboration project for Aerocraft & Zactomodels this is it! Daniel Leduc, Marcel111 and blackbetty

If that were possible it would be great. I have two full Zactomodels sets and two stalled SLUFs because of fear of cutting the vacform canopy parts, and would buy another. My Whirlybird Lightning T.5 conversion comes with several clear vacform canopy sets, one to have a go on plus spares. I think that should be enshrined in a written constitution. Ali62
Hi Guys I have just seen this, Andrew Birnie, lent me a kit ages ago to have a look at this, do not worry it is still safe, as for the set, it is time that is against me more than anything else, I have promised quite a few things over the years and have failed to deliver, so do. It want to make more promises to get broken. HOWEVER AND BUT…….I will revisit and have a think over the next while. cheers Ali blackbetty, Daniel Leduc, Out2gtcha and 3 others 5
