adameliclem
Great photos, Jari. I wonder if the paint was wet when they started up the engines and the wash from the blade tips blew it into the vertical streaks shown in the photos. Or maybe they just liked abstract art? Thanks for sharing. Adam

Sepp
Mavbe if you view it from some specific point, it looks "right", like the skull in Holbein's The Ambassadors adameliclem and D.B. Andrus
Oldbaldguy
I’m thinking the airplane had a leaky fitting on the windscreen de-icer squirty thing and the stuff escaped down the side of the airplane taking the paint with it. Too far forward for the prop to be causal.

RLWP
Phew - what a relief. I was dreading this being a new form of nose piercing Richard
Finn
Probably the copyright police showed up and had the artist remove the nose art. Here is another angle: Jari Sepp, adameliclem and TAG 1
adameliclem
Jari, I’m starting to wonder if this crew survived a gremlin attack and they took these shots to commemorate the event. These photos are great. I’m tempted to buy one of HKs Lancaster nose sections and this could be a great (and challenging) subject.
