I already knew this, but your airbrushing is way better than what I could do. Mine would have definitely come out looking like an airbrushed blob instead of naturally dispersing dye like that. easixpedro
Coming along nicely! I love how you've recreated not only the concentric waves, but the spray going perpendicular. Here's a version of the real deal (Apollo 9 recovery). Top notch work as always! easixpedro
It would be epic if you could have the SAR swimmer just splashing into the water. Legs and arms crossed of course. Maybe use a little pin through the flippers to have something to mount him to depict that moment he hits the water. As an aside, our last house in Japan was right on the waters edge and the SAR guys were always practicing about 100 yds from the house. Always fun to watch the SAR swimmers jump out...but I made sure my kids knew that there was no reason to ever jump out of a perfectly good a/c. My smart@ss son always responded with, "Even if it's a helo?" Tough to argue with his logic at times! Pete Fleischmann and Brett M

Pete Fleischmann
More whitewater work. The white caps are clear silicone mixed with MiG foam effect and MiG white powder..a few more to do. I am blending them with MRP white shot through the airbrush. cheers P Edited August 14, 2021 by Pete Fleischmann Coneheadff, spartacus2000, patricksparks and 13 others
Hawkwrench
Wow, that looks just simply amazing. It looks absolutely realistic. Your talents are way beyond great! Can't wait to see you tackle the Jayhawk when it comes time to build it. Tim Pete Fleischmann and A-10LOADER 1
Citadelgrad
This is amazing to watch a handful of ingredients and ideas come together to look photorealistic. I'm struggling to depict a paint job, you're conjuring up a realistic snapshot of rotor whipped water. Wow. So good it defies words. Pete Fleischmann
Hey all- A little more contrast added with some viridian hue green oil paint. This was applied as a quasi-wash thinned with white spirits Edited August 16, 2021 by Pete Fleischmann geedubelyer, Brett M, easixpedro and 17 others
