Padubon
Well, the engines are not fun. The pieces don’t match well, also there is a ton to fill in. I decided to just cover it with plastic card. So far it’s working and I hope to finish it tonight. I hope it works. blackbetty, BradG, denders and 10 others
TimW
I feel your pain. Thank God I was able to get the CED exterior details/engine replacement parts. It allowed me to junk the kit engines, of which I had heard uncomplimentary things. Keep up the good work, Tim W. Martinnfb

I guess I forgot to take pictures while I made the ones I used but I made another to show you. Also, I measured how long it took by playing my favorite Van Halen album, “Diver Down”. I took from the beginning all the way to “Little Guitars”, I played this song twice then I finished. Total time: about 26 minutes. Great response! Thanks for the tutorial and sorry about the late response. Martinnfb
Padubon
Hello, I think I’m done improving the engine nacelles. Those boogers were pretty bad in detail. The A-10 has a mixture of round head and countersunk rivets. Since I was in no mood to replace what was sanded off, I re-scribed them. All this work is not accurate and I don’t care much. To me, the nacelles still look like the Hog’s. Before: After: I am using the GT upgrade, the intakes are quite nice but the exhausts have huge rivets and they have to go. Troy Molitor
This keeps getting better and better and I don't even particularly care for jets! LOL. Some really awesome efforts going on here. Thanks for sharing this with us. Martinnfb

themongoose
Ohhh those nacelles and engine exhausts are looking great!! Really love how they turned out, especially the hinge area on the panels. Martinnfb
Padubon
Thanks guys. I had a busy and hot week and as a result, I was too tired after work. I was able to do some benching today. The elevators have a big gap at the hinge point and desperately asked for surgery with plastic card.
