Thunnus
Painting looks great, Gaz! I love the sawtooth camo on the wings. Another detail that you could consider on your drop tank is to remove that solid triangle of plastic and add the strap (ignore the red arrow)... Panzerwomble
I always envy the mottling you achieve on these Lufty birds , your 190 was the same ! Great work Gaz , & the pilot rocks as well . Edited September 15, 2021 by Panzerwomble Gazzas
mc65
wonderful, the kit by itself is a quiet and nice one, but your work on painting and details is awesome, I really admire the Wfr.Gr. 21cm, quite impressive! speaking about the undersurface loads, I quote the Thunnus's post, and I dare to give my little contribution on the drop tank: the revell's rendition is fair, except for that hanging strap, it have even depicted correctly oriented the four adjusting slots. so, I used these to help in adjust tank's heigt and alignment by a simple but effective trick: I cut and drilled an hole within the end of the kit's rods destined to be glued in the slots, then inserted in a section of welding wire with the end burned so it sported a ball. by playing with the wires in the holes I was able to glue the drop tank in the exact position I wished it. I don't know if I explained it clearly... here an (ugly) picture of my drop tank. Gazzas and Landrotten Highlander

Gazzas
I haven't done much to the plane except put on all the stencils. But I did build, paint, and decal my first deck chair. This is actually the third construct. The first two were out of unsuitable materials. I should do a fourth... but patience is a virtue I rarely have. Happy Modelling! Gazzas
This build defeated my mojo for a while. But instead of binning it or putting it on the shelf of forgetfulness, I left it where I could see it every day. I worked on other things hoping that I could get back to it. I didn't do much to the main part of the build except give it a pin wash today. Instead of the usual black, I used tones from the camo scheme and then blended them in. ... there are also some pre-captioned photos of minor stuff that needed addressing, too. Thanks for looking!
