MikeC Posted February 5 Posted February 5 I've got the kit, which comes with a book. I've also got books in the Flightcraft and Wing Leader series, plus one of memoirs. But I still wanted more so went second-hand book shopping ... You'll have probably realised which kit I referred to by now: I'd probably better start it soon. Uncarina, Rick Griewski, TankBuster and 6 others 9
LSP_Ray Posted February 8 Posted February 8 Does this count? Phantom2, coogrfan, dutik and 5 others 8
Rick Griewski Posted February 8 Posted February 8 1/12 scale? I dub thee the baby Muppet scale. I would love to see the Tiger sprues. Gazzas 1

I have already built the Tiger I, it is huge and very well done. The Tiger II is supposed to be a bit nicer. Here is the Tiger I next to my 1/16 KV-1 and a couple shots of the interior: Rick Griewski, dutik, Shoggz and 6 others 9
LSP_K2 Posted February 9 Author Posted February 9 A throwback to the past (my past), is this Moebius Seaview submarine. Sooner or later I'll grab the larger one too. The Seaview experienced a few changes throughout the series, as well as the movie version, but I'll go OOB and not sweat the "accuracy" too much. Shoggz, Kagemusha, BloorwestSiR and 7 others 10
Rick Griewski Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Impressive indeed Ray thanks so much for showing off the interior LSP_Ray 1
LSP_Mike Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Just in... S.O.W. 109F2 backdate conversion for Hasegawa F4. Prop blades, oil cooler, cowl panel & airscoop. I see a JG 26 F2 in the future. Also, the jabo bomb carrier, and a cleverly designed bomb. Great way to get the F2 subtype. coogrfan 1

Its arrival has certainly created a bit of a conundrum! But the Sea Fury is the one I've committed to for a Build Guide, and it's already overdue. I should have some workable instructions to hand any day now, so I'll be kicking ahead with the build as soon as possible. And as far as I'm aware, DBMK is sending Iain a sample to review on behalf of LSP. But I will say that a cursory glance at the parts in the box has left me quite impressed! LSP_K2 Posted February 24 Author Posted February 24 Impulsiveness seems to dominate my day to day existence (ADD or something silly like that), so as to not let myself down, I just snatched these two kits, with a third on the way. First, a long standing passion for artillery and field guns. And I've also liked the low wing George for quite a while. LSP_Ray, Shoggz, denders and 1 other 4
LSP_K2 Posted March 4 Author Posted March 4 The third kit I alluded to earlier. The largest carrier afloat, as far as I am aware. Small scale, but still a pretty large model. coogrfan and Shoggz 2
