Make the others jealous

I recently purchased a new cordless tool with a similar shape, though it is not electric, slightly smaller, all black, and does not require batteries. I will not post pictures of it, here, though, in deference to those who don't like that kind of tool. :)

I will however, discuss it via PM with any like-minded individuals who might appreciate it.

But you can't change the bit size, nor adjust drilling depth. Not good as well for screwing things, but you can sometimes use it as a hammer to nail things down ....

I found these items on the goodwill auction site a few weeks ago. Thanks to Harvey it took a little longer to get here than it might have otherwise.

Great great catch. Good luck with the PE under the deck. When you pull This one off she is going to look super fab!

When Paul Fisher announced the sale a few weeks ago in honor of Fred's birthday, I couldn't resist. Like all of Paul's kits, the quality of the castings is amazing, and I have no doubt they will build up into beautiful models. OK, they're not LSP's, but having seen, and heard, and felt these cars run there will always be room for fire-breathing, ground-pounding Can-Am cars in my stash!

When I called Paul to discuss the availability of these kits, I mentioned that the original (new old stock) canopy that came with the Pitts Special kit had yellowed badly. When I asked his thoughts for the best way to restore them back to 'clear', he offered to make a couple of replacements and toss them into one of the boxes - note the (2) new canopies in the photo above. They are absolutely perfect. I can't say enough good things about Paul's customer support, he is truly one of the all-time 'Good Guys' in our hobby.

Cheers!

Obviously not aircraft related (though it is hobby related), but I just received this book (ordered after my last payday, two weeks ago) on the Ferdinand/Elephant from Squadron/Signal. I've long been intrigued by this particular beast, and have been wanting the book since it was first released.
