Not sure too many of you have noticed but Ive been AWOL for a couple weeks...........

The wife and I have been out on holiday on our latest adventure to the south east US. It was indeed a hell of an adventure!
We had weather of all kinds, nature abounding including bears, foxes, raccoons, giant elk, seemingly hundreds of deer, golden eagles, hawks, turkey, turkey vultures, song birds of every color of the rainbow and insects of every variety. The nature and scenery was breathtaking to say the least, as the whole area was great views everywhere you turned. We had mountains, lakes, hills, rivers, ferrys across rivers, & long stretches of winding road as far as the eye could see, including the 11 miles and 318 curves of the dragons tail with our Jeep and off road trailer.

The camp grounds are very well kept, right by the lake and a bit less rustic than the wife and I are used to, but the amenities like an actual toilet were nice

Glad to be back home, especially after the wife and I lost a beloved furry family member a couple hours before we were supposed to leave. It put a different spin on things, but sometimes things have to happen for a reason.

Thanks for stopping in on me, and Ill see if I can put up a RFI post on the F.1 I completed right before I left.

Cheers!

Thanks Martin!

I forgot to mention another "not-so-great" moment on the trip...................

I was taking down one of the folded up aluminum extending awning poles, and like a dumba$$, was staring straight up at it when I did, and it let go and smashed right into my front teeth. Even left a huge powdery white dent in the pole!    Bit O dental work ahead for me
