They would probably need more plastic for the external fuel tank than the a/c itself, well almost : Jari Out2gtcha, Isar 30/07, Marcel111 and 4 others 5

thierry laurent
Beautiful lines, multiple versions, many users, decades of service, some incredible schemes and several war campaigns... Why is that plane so badly covered by model companies and fully ignored in large scale...? Derek B, JMcD, discus and 2 others

npb748r
that's got to be the biggest external fuel tank to aircraft size surely ?? It looks massive. The F1 is a bit like the Jaguar, they both deserve 1/32 IM treatment. The french have designed some of the best looking aircraft ever, but balanced with some of the worst. Finn
I'm guessing this one had a little tanking problem and thus the "kill" marking: Jari Derek B, blackbetty and Paul in Napier

D.B. Andrus
Looks like a fuel tank with an aircraft attached. Thanks for the beautiful photos, Jari. Cheers, Damian Derek B
discus
If I remember well, that huge fuel tank (2200l) was initally designed for the Iraki Mirage F1 but never delivered due to we all know what... As a result, French AF kept them for use below the F1 CT version mainly. They were nicknamed the "Iraki tank". They were sold to ATACs along with the plane. D.B.
