Excellent Albatros!

May I post it on the website?

Really eye-catching finish.

Thank you for the compliment Ray!  Please feel free to post the build on the website.

Hi Ernest,

That is a great build and setting

I have several Albatros kits in my stash - I really should get on and build one.

I think you'll find using mono-filament a good alternative to stretch line.

It's easy to thread through turnbuckles and tube and it does give structural strength to the model, particularly the landing gear,

Hi Mike, thank you very much for the compliment, you are very kind.  This the second WNW Albatros I have built and it was a lot of fun.  I just started a WNW Sopwith Pup and I will be using the monofilament and brass tube method to rig it.  Hopefully I can bring it off!

If it can be of help, you can read or download my 'Pup' PDF build log from Gallery 2 on my site (link in signature below).

It gives full details of how I built that model,

Hi Ernest,

Your Albatros looks fantastic.  Amazing detail on the engine.  The wood fuselage looks great.  And the colorful checker pattern is awesome.  AND you did a fine job on our figures.  Everything looks fantastic =)).

Thank you for the compliment Paul.  Your figures were fun to build and paint as they are high quality castings.
