scvrobeson
That prop is awesome! Did the veneers come from someone's design, or did you create it yourself? Matt
sky
Oh la la, that came out truly beautiful! ... aaaand into the reference folder it goes May I ask, where you got the veneer propeller? So far I've seen hand crafted props from LF and Proper Plane, but I have not seen a veneer set for one - or I haven't been looking properly
PrzemoL
Thank you, everyone. The veneers are cut by KoTeBi. They already have some on offer. https://swiatmodeli.eu/pl/c/Skala-132-133-135/372 (scroll the page down) This particular Axial prop, the BoultonPaul for FE2b and Garuda for Fokker E.I should soon appear in the shop, too. If you have some skills with computer graphics you can prepare the file with the prop outline, send it to the owner of the shop and it can be cut for you. He is happy to add more propellers to the offer. This is actually my 7th prop made like this and I am now fully hooked. It is especially nice for German propellers made from layers of different wood. British used one type of wood, so the effect is not so great. And the French and Italian painted the propellers so all the effort with carving goes in vain...
