Roland C.II Meerkatze (1/32, Wingnut Wings)

In the process of reducing my stash of WNW kits. With this one on the bench there are only 8 left...

So, enjoying every moment of work on the best plastic in town. The interior bits almost ready to put them inside the fuselage. Not much added to the box contents, just a couple of fuel switches, a few visible control cables and soon the aerial wire and linkages for generator and throttle will follow.

I will follow one of the WNW suggestions. Wings undersides CDL and the remaining surfaces - light cream yellow.

That sounds reasonable. I was tempted to build mine in grey, just to be controversial but went blue in the end

This is a lovely kit to build IIRC

Thank you, everyone.

Yes, the engine enhancment bits are from Taurus. Great stuff, very highly recommended.

Yesterday night I also managed to build the engine into the truss, which had to be detached from the left side fuse half to allow adding some weathering, a couple of fuel connections and the throttle linkage. Then the last glimpse and the fuse was closed. I suppose I will leave the engine covers off so that one can catch a glimpse of these engine details. Now for some minor treatment of seams.
