kensar
I have completed my build of the SZD-9 Bocian D sailplane. This is an Ardpol resin model in 1/48 scale. I added a few small details in the cockpit. The 2-place Bocian was developed in the late 1940s / early 1950s. The D variant was optimized for competitions and has held as many as 29 world records. Thanks for looking. Pascal, LSP_K2, Oldbaldguy and 7 others

Jaro
Congratulations. Great model, and fantastic subject as well. I can add Bocian was the first Polish and second in the world glider with forward swept wings. Among many world records set on Bocian one might be worth mentioning. In November 1966 pilot S. Józefczak reached an altitude of 12 560 m (overheight 11 680 m), and this record hasn't been beaten until now! RLWP
