Junkers JU-88 C6 Night Fighter

Recommended Posts

Revell's JU88 converted to a night fighter using the set from AIMS.

Radar aerials are left overs from a He 219.

Painted with Xtracolor enamels.

A fairly straightforward conversion, new nose, and modified cockpit are the main bits.

AIMS set comprises of resin, etch & decals.

They include instructions on how to make the aerials, but I scavenged them from the Heinkel kit.

Excellent model Angelo. Which AIMS conversion set did you use? I ordered from John already as well. Do you also have a build report at this forum?

Why didn't you use brass antennas? I would be afraid to break them while moving the model or touch ist while cleaning it.

Thanks for info

Best Wishes

I used the brass antennas on my Bf110 night fighter.

They are extremely nice, but fragile.

I find the brass ones have less give in them then the plastic ones which are more "forgiving".

The AIMS set was the one for the C6 fighter variant.
