HL-10
Revell's JU88 converted to a night fighter using the set from AIMS. Radar aerials are left overs from a He 219. Painted with Xtracolor enamels. A fairly straightforward conversion, new nose, and modified cockpit are the main bits. AIMS set comprises of resin, etch & decals. They include instructions on how to make the aerials, but I scavenged them from the Heinkel kit. Thanks for looking Angelo. Greif8
Excellent work Angelo! Your camo pattern and the exhaust staining is extremely well done. What airbrush and needle/nozzle combo did you use for the camo? Ernest Gazzas and HL-10
HL-10
Thank you! I use an Iwata Eclipse with a standard needle & nozzle. Greif8
MikeC
Very very nice. Hopefully it won't be too long before club meetings resume so I can see it in the plastic. HL-10

overcast
Excellent model Angelo. Which AIMS conversion set did you use? I ordered from John already as well. Do you also have a build report at this forum? Why didn't you use brass antennas? I would be afraid to break them while moving the model or touch ist while cleaning it. Thanks for info Best Wishes Kai HL-10
HL-10
Thanks everyone, I appreciate all your comments & compliments. 1 hour ago, overcast said: Why didn't you use brass antennas? I used the brass antennas on my Bf110 night fighter. They are extremely nice, but fragile. I find the brass ones have less give in them then the plastic ones which are more "forgiving". The AIMS set was the one for the C6 fighter variant.

Uncarina
Spectacular! The freehand camo really looks authentic—in fact, so does the entire build! Cheers, Tom HL-10
