nmayhew Posted March 25, 2021 Share Posted March 25, 2021 hi guys, winding up lead wire to simulate springs and wotnot is a huge PITA and I never get it to look convincing anyway, so I saw these and wondered has anyone used Albion Alloys turnbuckles as insulators on antenna wires? Out2gtcha Posted March 25, 2021 Share Posted March 25, 2021 Not necessarily for the straight type, but for the bumpy/small style antenna insulators I occasionally use a mix of CA gel and some Microballoons which are already white For springs I normally seek out Japanese model car sites.
