Does the new 1/24 Meng Fokker DR.1 have the parts to do an F.1....

Just wondering if the kit will have the parts to do an f.1 version like their 1/32 scale kit.

The 1/32 F.1 variant parts are mostly on a separate sprue, but some parts are on the main sprue, so if the 1/24th kit is any kind of copy of the 32nd kit, then yes, the F.1 parts should be in the box too;

 

- wider stub wing (narrower for Reichtovens kite)

- smaller wheels

- rounded horizontal stab

- full chin cowl

- wider inside opening style ailerons

- different rudder (although the kitted F.1 part looks identical to the DR.1 rudder to me)

- different tail skid

 

Might be other things I missed, but that's the bulk of the differences in the Mengnut kit.
