Shaping up very nicely - will this cockpit include an English / German phrasebook so the pilot can launch a string of foul language at les Boches whilst waiting for the Senior Service to work out how to put a machine gun on an aeroplane ?

Certainly not! He already knows how to speak slowly and loudly

 

Actually, in this case I know who one of the pilots was. Squadron Commander Spencer Grey:

These are the excellent Gaspatch Palmer Cord wheels:

Now for something a bit ambitious. I've owned a watchmakers lathe for some time, and I'm reasonably competent with it, so inspired by @kensar's work on his AVRO I thought I'd have a go at making barrels for the engine:

They will use left-over rockers from the WNW Gnome Lambda sprue and fit into a very simplified crankcase. Most of the engine is pretty hard to see on a Tabloid
