Youngtiger1 Posted February 7, 2024 Posted February 7, 2024 Yeah, F-5E/F cockpits would be a great addition.
Anthony in NZ Posted February 8, 2024 Posted February 8, 2024 Is there still a small chance we might see those gunbays for the Tamiya F4U ? Your work is amazing! Kagemusha 1
CruZz Posted February 23, 2024 Author Posted February 23, 2024 New sets are available on our webshop: 32050 F-15E CFT rack system (Tamiya) 32051 F-5 Tiger II Rails (Kytty hawk) 48025 F-5 Tiger II Rails (AFV/Eduard) www.kopeckyscalemodels.com Cheers, Jan Daniel Leduc, Hrvoje, geedubelyer and 10 others 13
Hrvoje Posted February 24, 2024 Posted February 24, 2024 Sweet, more F-15 goodies for my upcoming order next month Speaking of goodies, can you make R2D2 for the F-15, also known as the ELK-1891 SATCOM terminal used by the Israelis? None exist in 1/32 and Q-M-T make or used to make them in 1/48. Something similar, if not the same, is used on Israeli Apaches too. Daniel Leduc, Out2gtcha, Kagemusha and 1 other 4
Dave Williams Posted February 24, 2024 Posted February 24, 2024 The R2D2 antenna certainly does exist in 1/32. It’s part of the Isradecal F-15I conversion, and I think it used to be available separately too. https://www.isradecal.com/product-page/iaf-f-15i-ra-am-conversion-1-32 https://www.scalemates.com/kits/isracast-32039-iaf-f-15i-raam-sat-com-antenna--1129135 ghatherly and Martinnfb 2
Hrvoje Posted February 24, 2024 Posted February 24, 2024 Oh interesting, I didn't know that. I have the Wolfpack conversion and it doesn't include it from what I can see online (too lazy to go open the box right now). Unfortunately, Isracast do not have any on their site as a single item, just the whole conversion for the Ra'am. The antenna is included on some Baz models too so it would be nice to have it as a single item for future projects.
thierry laurent Posted February 25, 2024 Posted February 25, 2024 Alas the Isra one was available during a very short time period and it is OOP for ages! Actually I discovered it had been released when it was already OOP!
Breaker Posted February 26, 2024 Posted February 26, 2024 Jan, I finally got round to using some of my F-15E parts recently and the instrument panels are made out of a different material to the rest of the cockpit sets which isn't as nice to use. Is there any reason for the softer/plyable black material compared to the harder grey material?

But it´s not possible to cast IP panels like they are.... If you destroy something, let me know. Will send you new parts. Edited February 27, 2024 by CruZz Uncarina, Fanes, Breaker and 2 others 5
Breaker Posted February 28, 2024 Posted February 28, 2024 Hi Jan, fair enough that makes more sense! Thanks, Simon
Cycling Guy Posted February 29, 2024 Posted February 29, 2024 I love the F-5 rails. Adding it to my cart for whenever you do an F-5 cockpit
