Mark Maclean
Hi everyone, long time lurker and admirer on this forum but this is my first post. I recently purchased an A-7E Corsair and was expecting to find metal landing gear in the box. Unfortunately, they are missing from the kit. I checked the instructions and found white stickers had been placed over the metal parts in the parts map and a similar thing had been done to the steps in the instructions where you are offered a choice of metal or plastic. This seems to me that Trumpeter have made a decision to exclude metal parts from the list. Has anyone else experienced this? This is a little disappointing as I feel metal legs are probably required on this model to hold it up but I suppose it opens a gap in the market to companies offering metal landing gear. Cheers, Mark Gary Needham

thierry laurent
I think you are right. A similar trend can be observed in the last Hobby Boss LSP kits. Mark Maclean
Rick Griewski
My Trumpeter Me-262 kits were the last to have metal landing gear. I bought metal for the Bearcat and Wildcat.
