scott_t
Got very frustrated with a KH Mirage 2000 I was working on for the group build and decided I needed to walk away for a while from it. Started this Meng Merkava Mk.4 with the Nochri Mine Roller. Started on the mine roller. This is the adapter with the left and right arm assemblies. -Scott LSP_Ray, Kagemusha, Uncarina and 3 others
LSP_K2
I'm pretty impressed with what I've seen of Meng kits so far.

scott_t
Roller arms for the Nochri-Kal mine roller. Each of these consists of 8 pieces plus an 11 link length of chain that you need to cut from a long chain supplied in the kit. scott_t
For those of you who enjoy an exercise in patience ...... try building one of these roller assemblies :-) 59 parts + 5 chain lengths. It took me 4 days of off and on work to finish one .....I have another one to assemble. No paint yet. Panzerwomble
+1 on Meng ,I did a Hobby boss , Tamiya and a Meng King Tiger last year, both HB and Meng were superior kits in terms of detail , HB tracks a bit easier than Mengs but otherwise too close to call . Mine rollers look great BTW .
Dave Williams
Just a note, many of the HB Merkava kits have incorrect suspension spacing. They molded the suspension attachments on either side of the hull staggered like with a torsion bar suspension, which is wrong. I think only the most recent HB Merkava 4 w/Trophy has the correct hull.

scott_t
Closer to primer and paint ....added hull texture as the molded on texture did not appear to be very significant ..... Uncarina, Phantom2, Hartmann352 and 2 others
Uncarina
Looking great so far! I built one of these and really enjoyed it. What did you use for the anti-skid texture? Cheers, Tom
