williamj
Almost there... Have to admit that I have slammed this together without my A game just to break the boredom. The Revell kit is a super kit for the money, second to Tamiya in my estimation ,but a lot more work in fitting and clean up of parts. Cheers fer now. R Palimaka
Oh man that's gorgeous! May have been quick work but she is sharp looking. Good choice on the aluminum lacquer colour. Richard williamj
chuck540z3
I blinked and it's built already! You are a building machine William and that Alclad Aluminum looks like the perfect color. Great job! Maybe I missed it, but what was your decal source? Cheers, Chuck williamj
williamj
Thanks guys, appreciate it very much...Chuck the decals are Leading Edge, picked up both their sheets quite a few years back now with great expectations. williamj
Just about finished...spent a couple days working up a pilot in my spare time. Reworked Master Details Korean war Sabre pilot, made the visor by plunging some heated thin sheet over the helmet, drawing the visor pattern and cutting it out,two coats of Tamiya smoke.some belts, few little details.easy peasy. I do have a nice oxygen hose to hook up as well. This will be it for WIP..Have more to do yet with the Mustang.. Will post more in RFI. Sorry it wasn't more in depth but I seem to have raced through this. (It's what happens when you like what you're doing..insert bedroom joke here) Cheers.
