Bill M.
I am getting excited about the new Fundekals Operation Bolo decals and I have decided I need to build an F-4C Phantom as was a part of Operation Bolo. It looks like an early F-4C should have Martin Baker Mk. 5 ejection seat rather than the later Mk. 7 seat. Does anyone make a good aftermarket Mk. 5 seat that would be correct for the early F-4C? Thanks! Bill M. Derek B
thierry laurent
AMS does. Simply look at SprueBrothers website if they are in stock. LSP_K2
thierry laurent
I forgot that Cutting Edge released a similar set years ago. It sometimes appears on ebay.

Mark P
Still looking for ACCURATE burner cans for the F-4C in 32nd... Suggestions? Mark Proulx
Bill M.
Thanks for the info on the AMS Resin seats. As noted, they are out of stock at Sprue Brothers with no restock information, so I emailed Harold at AMS resin directly. As to the F-4C burner cans, I know that GT Resin made or makes a set— don’t know whether they are accurate or not... Bill M.
Bill M.
I just ordered a set of the early ejection seats directly from Harold at AMS Resin. He says he can make more if anyone else needs them. Email him directly at— hairold(at)frontier(dot)com Bill M. Derek B and USMC Herc

Mark P
Thierry: I am not sure, that is why I asked... From reading previous threads, there are aftermarket cans available but the consensus seems to be that they mirror the kit cans in being undersized. I am trying not to purchase cans that really do nothing to correct the kits problem. Mark Proulx LSP_K2
Bill M.
For F-4C burner cans, there are these from GT Resin and they are in stock at Sprue Brothers— https://store.spruebrothers.com/product_p/gtr32005.htm In the description, they claim they are “correctly sized”. Based on that, I just ordered a set. Bill M. Darren Howie and LSP_K2

To me the size problem is rather for the longer cans used on the J and E. THIS is obvious. jgrease

Bill M.
A new tool F-4 from Tamiya?! Now that would be something!! But to bring us back to earth, In view of Tamiya not doing any 1/32 kits recently, I don’t see that happening... as nice as that would be! Bill M. A new tool 1/32 scale F-4B from Tamiya would send me into orbit! They've done the research for the 1/48 kit so perhaps they might be tempted? Fingers and toes are crossed here! They issued a bunch of nice 48th scale kits that haven’t made it to 32nd.
