Uncarina
Perhaps a Mk.X at some point? Meanwhile: https://www.themodellingnews.com/2021/02/preview-all-same-detail-but-smaller.html#more Cheers, Tom Dennis7423, mpk and Bomber Command nut 2

mpk
Oh yes. This I want. I've been considering their B-17. Not anymore. I've got the 1/32 cockpit. Having the 48 kit beside it will be lovely.

Mark Proulx You just need an old Tamiya version of their Dambuster kit. I have heard from other modellers about possibly using parts from the Tamiya kit such as the H2S blister covering and possibly the bomb-aimers blister cos the HK example show a shallow version and (?) the one with two holes in it at the front so no good for a 'standard' Lancaster. I firmly believe that HK will have altered the design of the 48th over the 32nd because for a start there is a proper 'dickie' seat for the flight engineer, plus there is a decal for the IP (it looks crap though) so I consider they have listened so I am optimistic. Also as a price guide on Hobby Search it states $106 with a value equivalent to £76 . . . I'm one happy chappie Ian Edited February 23, 2021 by Bomber Command nut Uncarina

Uncarina
Looks like the canopy blisters are part of the pane. That’s an improvement. Cheers, Tom Bomber Command nut

Dave Williams
Looks like you get a choice of nose blisters and the H2S radome, although there doesn’t appear to be any antenna for the radar itself.
Uncarina
That's also the case with the 1/32 version, so I'll be scratchbuilding mine. Cheers, Tom
Dennis7423
I was actually quite impressed by how different this kit is from their 1/32 one. Separate wing halves, separate canopy sides, single-piece fuselage halves, landing gear bays are drilled out around the framework, and the landing lights are drilled out! Looks to be a lovely kit. - Dennis S. Thornton, CO USA
