Indeed - Voison, Blackburn's, and Brabazon :D

How about,

excessively large - Scaled Composites Stratolaunch, Hughes "Spruce Goose", Douglas XC-19, Consoldated XC-99,  or Tupolev ANT-20

Obscure - Kalinin K-7

or just very unlikely - Saro Princess

cheers, Graham

Large, well know and extremely unlikely:

Or, small, obscure and very unlikely

Small, well know and highly likely would be another ME-109...

Dale - who are "they" and why are "they" so mean ??

Every week we come here and suplicate for oodels of new 1/32  aircraft , and all we get is re runs of aircraft that have been covered many times before , it's worse than daytime TV .

You need to have a word with "them" ...

Is that an SP? There's supposedly a new 1:144 747 SP on the way, if it hasn't already been released.

Don't know. I wanted a picture of a 747 with the extended upper deck, that was on Wikipedia

There are just too many to list.

USA/GB WW2: Baltimore, Maryland, B-26 Marauder, Skua, Vengeance,

Japan: Jill, Betty, Pete, Kate,

Italy: Sm79, All their float planes.

Everywhere; FLYING BOATS

And the list goes on, and on.

I am a greedy one indeed.

:mental:

Oops. I forgot to mention the French and noxie float planes and flying boats.

SPAD XVII

I'd buy one in a heartbeat, but I guess any company doing one would probably sell about as much as were made of the real thing (~20)

Never say never as there is always a chance, and and even better chance if we have a Spad XIII

Definately true! As I was unable to find a Hobbycraft SPAD XIII, I'm already happy that a XIII is coming.

Who knows, Roden did the rather obscure Fokker D.VI, Siemens-Schuckert D.III and Albatros D.I as well, so if there is enough re-usable, parts-wise it just might happen.

I've built my share of Roden kits (1/72 so if it's going to be better than their 1/72 Fokker D.VII I'm happy already :)

Kevin, that looks like a 747-400 to me. Eastern Express has just released an IM 747- SP in 1/144. Both Qantas & TWA markings.

You may well be right. I don't know my 747s that well. I do believe Qantas flew the 747 SP though, if I'm not mistaken.

It's a 747-400.  The -300 (also has an extended upper deck) has the original wing without winglets - the wing root at the leading edge is different.  ANA did/do operate some 747-400s on domestic routes which don't have the winglets though.  The 747SP is very noticeably shorter in the fuselage, and the 747-8 is noticeably longer, but I don't think QANTAS operate those.

I checked the registration number on the fuselage
