is it windy yet?
I know anything is possible, with patience and skill. However, given the day I frequently lack both. Anyone done this? How difficult is it? Thanks
thierry laurent
Mixing the wings is possible as I did it to make a PRXI and a Mk.XII. MikeC
Busman
Yes I’ve done it, swap the engine and smaller oil cooler from the Mk II with the Mk IX
is it windy yet?
Ok, thanks. Is the fit pretty good or do I need to do a lot of filling, sanding and rescribing?
thierry laurent
I had no major fit issue as I did the cuts very cautiously in the lower wing. I mixed the central section with the radiator/oil cooler of one kit with the wing external section and leading edge of the other. I cut in the panel lines to preserve the rivet lines. I have a picture somewhere.
