Hi all,
The Ansaldo A.1 ‘Balilla’, Serial No:16558 of pilot Tenente Leopoldo Eleuteri of No:70a Squadriglia, operating from Gazzo Padovano during the September of 1918.

I admire the coordination of the color of the wing camouflage with the color of the grass on the base. Maybe it was luck, but it sure looks great. I also congratulate you on spectacular creation of a replica of an aircraft engine that has perfect color. I believe those rusty exhaust and oil stains correspond to a real machine. What an amazing creation.

Yes the ladder had to go.

The drift wires got in the way so I couldn't get the ladder with the mechanic close enough to the engine.
