fastterry
That's a nasty case of rust on some of those airframes. TRF
Oldbaldguy
Either that or lots of mahogany plywood. F-4Js I assume, based on the white rudders.

That and it's missing the refueling door on the spine from AF versions.
Chek
MSN 1523 which became F-4D 65-0600 MSN 1531 which became F-4D 65-0603. MSN 1513 which became F-4D 65-0596 and MSN 1600 which became F-4D 65-0630 which went to Republic of Korea The USAF type spine refuelling doors are visible on the enlarged photo. I've got an image of a chart somewhere I got from either Ron Downey's site or maybe Tommy Thomason's some years ago which tied construction numbers up with USAF serials and BuNos as appropriate, but buggered if I can lay hands on it right now. Oldbaldguy
Yep, I think you are correct. I can see the refueling door and it looks like they’ve already painted the canopy frames on the closest one green. Could be the subcontractor who produced the rudder painted all of ‘em white per the original contract spec? Chek
