seiran01
Out of curiosity, which of the various 1/32 bf109E kits on the market is generally the best? I'm talking from an ease of building as well as general accuracy. I'm not concerned about accuracy to the extent of dimensions being off by a few millimeters. Thanks for opinions and suggestions, Mike

dutik
Cyberhobby. Building Eduards cockpit is a PITA. Regards - dutik LSP_K2 and Tolga ULGUR
LSP_Ray
For a more in-depth look, I wrote two articles, and a review: 109E Comparison, Part I 109E Comparison Part II and CyberHobby 109E Review I still need to add part 3 of the review (cockpits), but I can say the CyberHobby one is probably the best (all three are very decent cockpits compared to what we had before), although the seat might be a tad tall, but some pics show a similar seat for an early 109. Also, there are a couple parts the instructions aren't clear about. They also include parts for the Jabo version but arent clear about that, either. The Trumpy cockpit isn't bad (actually all three are very decent cockpits compared to what we had before), but Trumpy's canopy has a problem: the planform of the sliding portion is a trapezoid, not a rectangle. In other words, the canopy tapers down as it goes aft, where the two sides should be parallel. LSP_K2
I also reviewed the E-3 kit, here. Dany Boy
Dave Williams
Cyberhobby. The main nit is that the instructions aren’t clear in some areas. Tolga ULGUR and LSP_K2
seiran01
Thanks again guys. I saw the reviews but I had not seen Ray’s two part comparison article. Great work on that, Ray!
Pup7309
So is there a way of getting round the Eduard cockpit - resin replacement? the rivet details seem nice on the Eduard Edited January 8, 2021 by Pup7309
hworth18
Great comparisons, but overall, I'd say the Eduard 109E is just a tad better than the Cyberhobby in overall details. nmayhew and Rick Griewski
