It’s not like any manufacturer is going to use this little “poll” to make a decision on dropping a couple of hundred grand on a mold. Thanks but of course I knew that. I was just pointing out in a not-so-subtle way that this is in no way a "poll" but just another wish-list thread, and a misleadingly titled one at that. Tony T
On 1/8/2021 at 1:07 PM, Gary Needham said: ... For almost a decade and just about every year, the 'most wanted' by way of example in 1/48 was the Ju-52 and eventually along came Revell with a quite superb kit in 48. I will stand corrected but as I understand it, that kit has since been one of their worst investments in terms of mould costs and sales returns and sold quite badly. That certainly couldn't be explained because it was a poor kit - far from it. I also assist a friend who has quite a high profile figures company at trade shows prior to lockdown and I have lost count of the times someone at the shows has asked to be emailed when a new figure is about to be released as they "really want it" and then once we have it in stock a few weeks later.....in about 60%+ of the cases, they will 'have a think about it' or simply say something else has since caught their interest and secured their limited hobby funds. Obviously it wasn't "a must have" as they had lamented when finding that we didn't have it at that specific time. .... Gary It's been years and my 1/32 dream list hasn't changed: the Su-15 Flagon remains top. (On the Junkers aside, I would buy one if it came with optional OOB floats. Revell missed a trick there.) It sometimes leaves me with a feeling that my interests are in the wrong scale, but my ray of hope is ICM, who might do more Soviet era jets in 1/48 (like the Flagon) and even titchy subjects in 1/32 like a MiG-15UTI and -17. The other is ResKit, who could, for example, offer a fix for the Trumpeter MiG-17, a conversion or upgrade for the MiG-21 & -23 and fix the single seater Su-27 canopy etc. Tony CRAZY IVAN5 and iaf-man
Pup7309
Considering the state of world affairs, probably something that’s easily destroyed on a runway with a cardboard drone, Barring that I’d like to see something different like Kalinin K-7, Ilya Maurometz, Spad A2 in Russian markings or Grigorovich M9 johncrow
