Definitely worth testing on a paint mule first, and starting with hand processing and polishing.  I prefer the Zero Diamond Coat 2K, but I haven't tested the MRP yet.  If you do try machine polishing it, it really needs to be a wireless motor tool, or one that you can really turn the speed down on.  My Mini-Dremel is battery powered, and runs at about 7,000 rpm.  It's definitely fast enough to work the polishing compounds, but nowhere near fast enough to burn through the clear or burn the plastic.

Look forward to seeing your Fireblade.

Hi Matt, Thanks for your help and guidance on my first motorcycle and some new materials. I did make a few little mistakes but for the most part I am very happy with the results. Everything I learned will make the next one easier. Here are a couple of pictures as requested.

That came out great!  Especially for your first build!  That Tamiya Fireblade is a sweet kit.

Thanks Matt. Yes it's a very nice kit. Well detailed and it goes together great. When I bought the Zero paint I also got the set set for the black version so I may be building a second one.
