Thomas Lund 1,825
I positively love GOT - seen it twice... But anything with mafia etc gets a pass from me, so no sopranos. Seen Godfather 1-3 but will not do it again. Watched a little of Breaking Bad, but got bored. And anything that even remotely resembles reality tv (including dancing, baking etc etc) really gets my gag reflexes going Jennings Heilig and MikeMaben
MikeMaben 7,824
I've never seen Titanic, Alien or Elf. Robin Williams or Woopy Golberg have never made me laugh. Williams best performance was in Popeye. True confessions Jennings Heilig and JT68 1

MARU5137 15,916
to tell the truth WE didn't have TV for the longest time. And movie going was less important than studies. So there must be hundreds of movies and "made for tv" shows like that BadBreak and Games Of Thrones etc.. that I have NOT seen.. even THAT Tom Cruise movie with fighter jets. can't recall its name.. I know , how boring am I. Edited December 27, 2020 by MARU5137 MikeMaben

Agreed. Don't just write off GoT as a "dungeons and dragons" type show, it's so much more. Breaking Bad was fabulous. Add to that Boardwalk Empire, Ozark, Band of Brothers and The Fall. All are "must see TV". One series that I just didn't get into was Mad Men. Just had another friend rave about it. I may have to check it out again. mpk
Gazzas 7,774
Mad men wasn't too bad. I would say that it's more like a soap opera and definitely not action related at all. Breaking Bad was just awesome! mpk
Dave Williams 3,768
I liked the first few seasons of Mad Men, when they were in New York, but in the last season or two, when they went out to California and went hippie, I lost interest.
Jennings Heilig 15,171
I loved Mad Men. I guess because I have memories of a lot of the time period covered, and the art direction was *so* great in that series. It was literally like being back in the 1960s. Yes, it was a soap opera, but so is a lot of good TV. Just with better production values. mpk
LSP_K2 25,056
Several that pop to mind as being great shows that I've never seen even one episode of; Seinfeld, Breaking Bad and Deadwood. mpk
Thomas Lund 1,825
BTW Tarantino movies are so overrated except Reservoir Dogs. Apart from that one I've never watched one of his to the end. JT68 and mpk
