Sir,,

Very impressive BF109. I really like the camouflage you selected. I have one question. What was the RLM color for the underside? It looks somewhat like a very light grey. Like camouflage grey.

Jim

Thanks James

This color is not an official RLM paint. In fact this is a primer used in the late years of the war due to paint stock availability.

After the war experts called it as RLM84 .

This is very similar to RAF sky duck egg green. So I have used Gunze Sky duck egg green with some white drop for lightening.

Here are other examples that I built with this color.

Lovely work, great scheme - have to love those late war slap dash efforts - vain attempt to stem the incoming tide.

that looks wonderful

what is the reference for the plane / what decal or masking sheet did you use?

Thanks

Actually, I decided to built this G-14AS by chance.

When I entered Hannants' homepage, I saw new 1/72 AZ Model's kit in the Future releases screen.

And I like its scheme very much

So my only reference is AZ model s kit boxart.

For “Black 3” and “bar” I have used "Bad Omen Decals" Luftwaffe code number set
