Let me join this Group build with the new model from Roden - PT-17 Kaydet, I will use PE parts from Eduard: seatbelts and interior,

they are both for ICM kit, but I think there will be no problems.

Hope will be able to finish it by the end of Group build, so fingers crossed)))

Thanks guys, so let's start

- this kit has not ideal plastic, I would say 6 out of 10, so I spent 2 evenings to remove, send, give nice shape for interior details

for example seats, they were awful

- glued together some interior parts, radio, control stick (it also was not straight), pedals etc.

- painted all interior parts in black

quick question - what color should I use for interior sides of fuselage?

instruction says light red brown, but I have some doubts about it. On real planes that I found pictures, they have different colors: plain metal, grey, blue (to match outside colors), so I'm a bit confused

Thanks.

Christmas long weekend was very productive

-painted wings in yellow, firstly I used Hataka paint for Early US planes colors, but I didn't like how it looks (used half of bottle and it was not too bright)

so I repainted everything with Mr.Hobby RLM 04

Here, on left, you can see Mr.Hobby and on right - Hataka

all wings are covered with Mr.Hobby RLM 04

yellow parts are covered and fuselage was painted in blue

I like it very much, even though its an American plane, but it looks so Ukrainian )))
